A strong entrance with lasting character
GD11 Contemporary Composite Door
GD11 uses three wide horizontal glazed panels stacked down the door face. The repeated bands create a distinctly horizontal contemporary design compared with the upright panels used on GD09 and GD10.
Consider the view through all three panels, particularly the lowest one, when selecting privacy glass. Compare the repeated bands with GD12's single broad upper panel. Check the handle position and the complete supplier illustration before confirming the final layout.

How does GD11 compare with GD12?
GD11 has three separate horizontal glazed bands. GD12 has one larger rectangular upper panel, with solid detailing below it. Their different pane positions affect the appearance of the entrance; glass type and the surrounding light also matter when comparing privacy and daylight.
Built for British homes
Why choose this Distinction composite door?
The GD11 Contemporary Composite Door combines an authentic, carefully detailed finish with a strong insulated construction. It is made to provide an attractive, low-maintenance entrance for homes in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding area, with the final specification tailored during survey.
High-impact GRP skin
A tough glass-reinforced plastic outer skin provides strength and durability while recreating the character of a traditional timber door.
Insulated foam-filled core
The high-density insulated core is designed to retain warmth and support strong thermal performance as part of a properly specified doorset.
Stable composite construction
Water-resistant polymer composite rails and engineered reinforcement help the door resist moisture absorption, movement and everyday wear.
Security-focused design
A rigid sub-frame, reinforced central board and impact-resistant skin create a reassuring foundation for the selected multipoint locking system.
Decorative glass choices
Where glazing is selected, compatible decorative units include laminated and triple-glazed options designed to add privacy, style and reassurance.
Colours and finishing touches
Choose from complementary colours, glazing and door furniture to create a personalised entrance that suits the character of your property.
