A strong entrance with lasting character
Renown Top Cottage Composite Door
Renown Top is the RE04 design in Distinction's Signature Renown collection. It places the glazed feature towards the top of a cottage-style door, giving you an alternative to the Renown Diamond layout without changing to a split stable door.
Consider where you want the glazed feature to sit when the door is viewed from both the hallway and outside. Compare Renown Top with Renown Diamond and the base Renown design, then review the compatible glass separately. If your entrance already has a glazed panel above the frame, include it in a photograph so we can discuss the whole arrangement.

Does Renown Top have a separately opening top section?
No. Renown Top is the Cottage design shown on this page; its name describes the door style. For a door with independently opening top and bottom sections, choose a Stable model and ask us to confirm its operation and hardware during survey.
Built for British homes
Why choose this Distinction composite door?
The Renown Top Cottage Composite Door combines an authentic, carefully detailed finish with a strong insulated construction. It is made to provide an attractive, low-maintenance entrance for homes in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding area, with the final specification tailored during survey.
High-impact GRP skin
A tough glass-reinforced plastic outer skin provides strength and durability while recreating the character of a traditional timber door.
Insulated foam-filled core
The high-density insulated core is designed to retain warmth and support strong thermal performance as part of a properly specified doorset.
Stable composite construction
Water-resistant polymer composite rails and engineered reinforcement help the door resist moisture absorption, movement and everyday wear.
Security-focused design
A rigid sub-frame, reinforced central board and impact-resistant skin create a reassuring foundation for the selected multipoint locking system.
Decorative glass choices
Where glazing is selected, compatible decorative units include laminated and triple-glazed options designed to add privacy, style and reassurance.
Colours and finishing touches
Choose from complementary colours, glazing and door furniture to create a personalised entrance that suits the character of your property.
